Here Banús uses oil as an expressive vehicle to reinterpret the mythological imagery that accompanied him throughout his life. Inspired by passages from the Odyssey, he evokes the moment before Ulysses meets the sorceress Circe: a voyage marked by the hypnotic song of the sirens and the vastness of the sea. His brushstrokes, charged with narrative intent, project a deeply symbolic vision of the inner journey and the power of myth.
